Location: Contact Tamara for details Organised by Tamara Schiopu. This is a "bring your own" to share dinner. The evening will start at 7pm and this year we decided to give it a “Terra Madre” twist, with Christmas dishes cooked by our members and inspired by different countries. We have a wealth of various countries represented in our Convivium and if you take into account those that you visited or watched on TV then the range is unlimited, so have a thought about a country that you would like to represent and bring us a dish, which maybe they eat at Christmas. Or maybe – not. The good thing about this is that everybody will believe your story and will think that it should taste exactly as it tastes and looks. For example I am going to bring a Moldovan Christmas dish, any challengers? Anyway, it is going to be fun and merry, oh, by the way, do bring a favourite drink, too. Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome too ;) This event will not involve any cost on our part, but I am asking you to still sign up, by replying to this message, because we need to know the numbers and also – to balance savoury and sweet dishes. Thank you, Jane and Pete for offering to help on the day. I would welcome any other volunteers to help set the room up and clear up afterwards. Please let me know. Sign up by emailing leader@slowfood-oxon.org.uk.
