Following various discussions during several Slow Food encounter, we have decided to run a different type of event: a more informative one, to get rid of the media scare mongers and present you with facts so that you can make up your own mind on the matter

Palm oil is a major component in many processed foods (and cosmetics). Its effects on health and the impact of its production on the environment are the centres of an on-going controversy

The idea of the event is to give airtime to defenders of the material as well as activists against to get the full picture.
