Tolly and I had a good look around the fields yesterday and found little berries, it has not been a good year for sloes here and we feel that it is important that we leave the few ones to the birds, which are vital on our organic farm.

I regret to say that we have to cancel the workshop and I apologise for any inconvenience this may have created, we just need to follow what nature has in store for us.

For those of you who are luckier and can find sloes nearby, I shall post my sloe gin making notes on our website, as soon as tonight.

Come along and pick your own organic sloes from our fields and make this beautiful traditional drink, just in time for your Christmas presents and guests. Sip some from our 2007 vintage. Bring a silver fork. Gin, sugar, bottles and utensils, along with a home made snack will be provided (hence the price).
